Serranova is the first Paleolithic village in our era!

Serranova is where you stop watching videos and start doing—without abandoning your job or your responsibilities. It’s a 6 or 12-month membership in a living Stone Age village on 50 forested acres in Maine, where you come and go as you please, build your own primitive shelter, and find your tribe.

What’s included with your membership:

Your annual membership includes:

  • 6 or 12 months of open access to the property at a low inaugural price.
    • Your term starts at your first check-in (activating your membership)
  • Your own 2,000 sq. ft. territory to build a primitive shelter, workshop, or garden
    • Choose a spot from among different areas from fields to forest. There are plenty of trails to hike to find a nice spot. See the ground rules.
  • Use of all facilities: barn, three cottages with 20 memory-foam TwinXL beds; 3 kitchens; 9 bathrooms; 3 hot showers; laundry
  • Access to all free community workshops (fire-making, knapping, archery, leather tanning, and more) and optional paid or bartered workshops run by members
  • Four seasonal festivals: Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox, Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox
    • Members have an at-cost ticket price to cover food and beverages.
    • Bring a few guests to the four seasonal Festivals. Reserve their spot early, subject to 300 attendance cap, as members get first priority.
  • Three large stone circles for evening gatherings and bonfires
  • Firewood for fires and cooking meals over open flame, spits, or in one of 3 kitchens. Potable water is included. No utility bills.
  • Access to online web-based Member portal for scheduling, skill-matching, and community connection

Fresh ideas welcome!

There’s many exciting things we can do and make at Serranova, if we band together to make the experience more authentic. Find your tribe.

We’ve produced Halloween and other themed events here in the past, and with “paleo-creativity” we can create incredible things together. There’s clearings to make archery ranges, a horse paddock, swimming hole, bonfires, ropes courses, vegetable-tanning areas, knapping sites, and more.
