Planning your stays

In brief: let us know your stay dates in advance

Serranova is a place to both work solo and to meet new people and build your tribe. We expect people from all over the world to join, so Serranova will foster plenty of fruitful new bonds between members. Here’s how we ensure this happens:

How self-check-in scheduling works

Returning Members are required to register planned visits via the online Member Portal (coming soon), including expected arrival and departure dates. (This also helps you reserve a bed in the cottages, if that’s your wish.) This booking information is visible to other signed-in members to facilitate coordination and community building. You can fill out your member profile, describe any workshops you’ll be running, and ask the community questions.

This Portal will be a web-app accessible in any browser or device, no special app to install. It will be ready by end of May.

First-time visitors must select a scheduled arrival window so that you can receive a personal orientation tour by Paul or another Serranova community leader. There will be a few 2-hour blocks of time each week.

Daily Meals

Currently all members need to cook for themselves, or help each other —except for the 2 solstice and 2 equinox feasts. Since we have a commercial kitchen and catering license, we want to hire community members with primitive cooking skills to help prepare meals on days that many members are onsite.

If you’re interested in learning and doing, let me know.
